The basics

What is a tech pack?

A tech pack (technical package) is the instruction document a garment manufacturer uses to sample and produce your product. It defines how the garment is built - flats, seams and stitch types - what it is made of - fabrics, trims and labels - and exactly how it should measure in every size. A good tech pack reduces sample rounds, prevents costly factory assumptions, and gives you a document you own and can take to any manufacturer.

What is included in a Gaaha tech pack?

Technical flats (front, back and details), construction and stitch specification, bill of materials, points of measure with a how-to-measure guide, size grading, artwork and label placement, and colorways. The exact page set is agreed per garment.

What do I need to provide?

Whatever you have: a sketch, reference photos, a sample garment, or a written brief. We ask clarifying questions about fit, fabric and features before drawing, so the tech pack reflects your intent rather than guesses.

Which files do I receive?

A print-ready PDF for your factory plus the editable Adobe Illustrator source files, so you own your technical documentation outright and can update it later.

How long does a tech pack take?

A complete tech pack typically takes 10–15 working days and fashion flats take 5–10 working days, depending on the complexity of the garment and the clarity of the design brief. We confirm the timeline before work starts.

How much does it cost?

Every project is quoted individually. The quote is based on your brief, the actual scope of work and how urgently you need it, and is clearly communicated and agreed before any work begins - no surprises.

Do you work with US brands?

Yes - most of our clients are US-based founders and brands. We work remotely in English, write measurements in inches (or centimeters if your factory prefers), and deliver tech packs any factory worldwide can build from. We work with brands all across the globe.

Will you sign an NDA?

Yes. We sign NDAs before you share design details, and we never publish client names or unreleased products without your permission.

How quickly do you reply to enquiries?

Can you update an existing tech pack after sampling?

Yes. We review samples against the spec, document corrections and issue revised tech packs for each sample round until production sign-off.
